What is Cozy Room Decorator?

Cozy Room Decorator is just as it sounds! It’s a game designed for the casual player interested in decorating their own cozy room, specifically with an isometric view. It’s a game that’s not meant to be burdened with a myriad of NPCs or side quests. There is currently no intended plot or story planned for Cozy Room Decorator. With no story quests blocking gameplay, it’s easy to get into the nitty gritty of decorating. This title is also a learning tool of sorts for us at Lucky Roll Studio as we further hone our skills for future games.

My Vision

My own personal goal with Cozy Room Decorator is to practice 3D modeling and everything else that comes along with putting cute items into a game. I wanted this game to be available for those that enjoy decorating, but maybe don’t have an interest in modeling the items. Inspiration comes from various games that appeal to interior designers at heart. I always seem to enjoy a game so much more when I’m given the opportunity to decorate and I hope others can share that joy with me.

Future plans

I’d like to offer different styles of furniture as well as different furniture by rooms. For example, a contemporary living room set or a cottage kitchen set. The items in each set will be available to be used individually and players can endlessly create combinations for an aesthetic that is uniquely their own. There’s also a few other ideas that we are playing with, such as different room shapes, that may end up in the final product.
